I have one bedroom available for rent in my home on Garfield St. at Wolever Ave.
This is a wonderful neighborhood to live in. The streets are well-lighted and the area is close to the RCMP headquarters. The house is also close to schools, shops, grocery stores, and major bus routes going downtown or toward Polo Park and Unicity.
Monthly rent per room is $300. It includes water, hydro & heater.
Each room has a closet space and furnished with a single bed.
Shared amenities:
1) Bathroom (full bathroom with shower).
2) Kitchen (fridge, stove/oven, microwave, dining table/chairs).
3) Laundry washer/dryer (weekends only).
Other amenities available for an additional fee:
-Garage parking space for $40 per month (per vehicle).
Restrictions:
1) Prospective tenants should be able to commit to a 3-month stay or longer, even though the rental is monthly.
2) Rental history and references are required.
3) No smoking, no pets, no noisy parties.
4) You have to do your own snow clearing in wintertime. (Sorry, I have a bad back, but I can provide shovels.)
