I have a 1959 Gibson Les Paul Replica, built by a luthier out of Ohio. It is an accurate reproduction of the most sought after guitar in the world. Unlike Gibson custom shop guitars, it is made with all of the materials that the Les Pauls of the 50's were made of, and that Gibson DOES NOT USE ANYMORE. Old Growth Honduran Mahogany body and neck, Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, eastern maple flamed top, CTS 500K pots, WCR Darkburst handwound pickups, Vitamin Q PIO caps, true nitro sunburst finish, holly veneer headstock(like 50's), long neck tenon. It is not new and has some wear here and there, but the tone, sustain and playability crushes any Historic Les Paul out there, no comparison. If you are interested let me know, I would even meet at Long and Mcquade so you could compare it to any custom shop Les Paul they have, no contest. What I am looking for is a Custom Shop strat, preferably with a maple fingerboard or a highend acoustic. Let me know if you have any questions. And before someone jumps on this as a chinese knockoff or something like that, do your homework. These guitars sell for 4-5K and are WAY better than Gibson Custom Shop guitars in accuracy and quality. I am willing to trade because I have another Replica and I want a strat to compliment it. I might consider trading for two USA made, non custom shop guitars, no MIM or lowball offers. Cheers.
