Rare North Star Oil Co Lubrication Guides Have three, one 1951, one 1952 and one 1960 .North Star was a prairies based Canadian Oil Co that was taken over by Shell Oil in the 1960 's. I had my first car , a 1940 Ford serviced at a North Star Oil Service Station in St. James/Winnipeg in 1958 .I have never seen one of these guides as they were kept in the service bay for reference . The following cars and trucks are features in each guide going back to 1942 - Buick , Cadillac, Chevrolet , Chrysler , Desoto , Dodge , Ford , Fraser , Hudson , Kaiser , Mercury , Monarch , Nash , Oldsmobile , Packard , Plymouth , Pontiac , Studebaker , Willys plus ten pages of English cars. a total of over 100 pages in each guide. Would look awesome in your man cave or oil related collection .The 1951 and 1952 have been sold . The 1960 guide is $ 40 will ship nation wide for an additional $10 per guide .from Victoria B.C.
