Medical Office Assistant

The Ross Bay Health Centre is looking for an experienced full-time Medical Office Assistant. We are a busy private medical clinic with four Physicians and four Nurse Practitioners. The front desk team works closely with the practitioners to ensure the office runs safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will be working with one other MOA and the Office Manager. We are searching for someone who displays critical thinking, initiative, professionalism and drive. Some of the responsibilities are as follows: • Greeting patients upon arrival • Scheduling appointments • Answering a multi-line telephone system • Medical filing and faxing • Instrument sterilization • Accounts receivable calls • Stocking and cleaning exam rooms each morning • Ensures that office policies and patient confidentiality are maintained Please include a cover letter and resume when applying for this position. Masks wearing and up to date COVID vaccinations are mandatory. Exam rooms are cleaned by the practitioners after each appointment. Appointments are pre-booked and are a mix of both telehealth calls and in-person exams. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $20.00 per hour Expected start date: after September 26, 2022 Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:00 pm
